Interactive documentation guide

Read the COA

Choose a certificate, open the laboratory document, and follow four focused steps to understand how the report is organized.

This guide explains laboratory-document structure. It does not evaluate a compound or replace the certificate issued by the laboratory.

What was tested

Start with the test name and method—not the result.

Locate the test or method column on the certificate. A COA may list identity, chromatographic purity, and other checks. Each row describes a separate laboratory measurement performed on the submitted batch sample.

On the report: Look for: test name, analytical method, sample or batch identifier.
